It's obviously an import, registered in the UK in 1999.

The V5 says it was first manufactured in 1989, so it's a 1989.

My Supra says 2004 on logbook and is a 1994.

GS500 also said it was a 2000 model and it was a 1993 Laughing

Import Thumbs Up

FFS.

When people want to know "What year is it?", they typically don't give a damn what the DVLA plate suggests, they're interested in the year of manufacture.

Most Bros 400cc were grey imports, mine was...I chose it as it arrived on the crate to Boxhill Motorcycles all those years ago (I had a lot to choose from). You can tell the year from the letter on the numberplate/V5 document.

My 10th digit is a zero. My VIS consists of 6 Letters and 6 numbers. I told you. That's why I believe it's a '79 Wink XL125S*6 numbers*

I presume it is just the bike production number.
