£1

Shocked

https://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_376781_langId_-1_categoryId_255243

Bike specific for £1 as well. Confused

EDIT: I should probably have put this in new bikers.

As above. The t&cs state they must honour online price but doesn't stipulate whether its at the time of collection or reservation. Im sure the halford boffins will clock this soon. I'll keep you posted tomorrow.

[edit] got mine today cheers Smile

Sorry to be a naysayer, but the book covers how to insure your bike, what to look for, for the mot. All that information's available online anyway?

I see the one for my bike is still 24.99

Thanks Flip. I ordered the adventure book.

Once when I ordered some indicators on Halfords they didn't have the specific ones in stock despite it saying they were in stock on the website, but they rang to let me know straight away and offer me a slightly different set (and they still honoured the cheaper online price).

Reserved the 3 I want at my local, will go collect em after lunch and update what they say.

Though seeing as I work in retail, and will take the website on my phone quoting "The price you see is the price you pay, even if it is cheaper than in store!". Im pretty sure I wont get questioned.

Very Happy

EDIT: Just had a courtesy call from Halfords to say the books are ready for collection. Thumbs Up

Got mine too Smile Sending the missus over to collect...

Looks like they're clearing out old stock that never gets sold - might be a bit of a bad sign ie. they're pulling even further away from bikes?

My vote goes to a typing error, these manuals would sell for £10 with ease.

A word of warning on the Adventure Motorcycling book is that it's very basic. For a quid I can't complain but it's more like a very basic introduction for the complete noob.

I got 'the motorcycle book' thinking ah its only a quid.

Turns out after a flick through its bloody fantastic! pretty much answers most of the commonly asked questions on here in new bikers and the workshop, and a bit more.

Genuinely chuffed & suprised, thanks Mr. Green Thumbs Up Karma
