hello, i have a honda ns125r 1992...... the problem is that it will turn over but wont start (kick start type)

I have replaced the spark plug, replaced the sparkplug ht lead and coil, checked the fuel line, replaced the battery, etc and still wont start!

I have checked for a spark but there is a strong spark generated, after so long of turning it over (dead leg by then) it makes a hell of a bang (backfires).

it all happened when i broke down on it not long ago and had it recovered. where i was riding and just lost power and the engine just stopped (gawked).

i just cant get it going what do i do????? please help!!!

Have you done a compression test? If you spark is good & you've got fuel getting through it should start provided it has compression. What condition was the plug in that you removed, might give an indication to the condition of the engine prior to it breaking down.

i have not yet done a compression test but i had the old spark plug out it worked with a weak spark (was the coil though) and it was barely fouled and barely worn as it was new a week prior to the break down i was told it was the cdi but changed that no difference. also i did notice something... around the head it was damp on the seal and i found that after a few cranks seemed flooded (about 2 cranks i think)[quote]Have you done a compression test?
