Hi guys

Someone mentioned to me a while back that parts from later model ZX6R's are compatible with the '97 F3 models?

Anyone found this to be true?

I only ask because I have found some parts are are as abundantly available as rocking horse turds!

Cradley Heath Kawasaki, google them, use their parts finder to get the part numbers and compare them, only accurate way.

Very few are, as far as I know - it was basically a complete redesign.
I'd have thought you'd find more in common with the B model ZX9R.
Lots are compatible between G and J/A of course and also for C/E/F ZX9Rs.

There you go!

You can actually bolt a G or J engine into an F if you get the respective engine mounts, and all swingarms from the 89' D up to the 06 636 (and beyond I think) will interchange mod-free at the spindle end (obviously some fiddling to make exhausts, rearsets and such clear correctly and wheels to line up).

With a friend with a lathe you can do anything, i.e. a 2007 ZX10R front end on a 1995 ZZR 600 E. I can get lathe work done at a fair rate if you PM me.
