first picture, top of carb, is that air filter? Poor paint work also goes for horn,

second pic Petrol cap is broken,

third pic seat is badly repaired,

fourth pic the bright work hasn't been taken apart to be cleaned properly, fifth pic scratch on the rear "hugger" left hand side below light,

seventh picture, chain guard is pitted and will rust soon

8th pic frame is painted and prepped poorly, bits in it, should have powder coated.

Ninth pic shows that the chain guard interior is rusty and hasn't been restored just cleaned up on other side,

tenth shows pitted metal work

Not really a show room or museum restoration, consider all the details that have been highlighted above, seems like it was done with a "that'll do" attitude, no one will notice that I have neglected to restore so much, and it is in a rather homosex colour.

The 98cc Benelli Letizia - this is the first motorcycle made by Benelli after the Second World War. They made just 3000 of these bikes in total of which there are just a handful left worldwide, and the Letizia was then joined by the Benelli Leoncini 125, the bike on which Leopoldo Tartarini won the 1953 Motogiro d'italia.

This little Benelli has been restored / renovated carefully to its exact original specification utilising the original parts - she runs beautifully and as for the overall condition, I will let the photos speak for themselves, but she is believed to be the best one left.

This bike is being auctioned with no reserve (always a risk!!) and a very, very low starting bid. She does not have tax or an MOT for the simple reason that she has not been used, but she is registered.
