Ok so here it is all cleaned up and ready to go. V5 and almost every receipt present.

Thousands went into this build and no corners were cut. That being said I will certainly consider any serious offers at the moment.

Old build thread

https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=162002&highlight=dt125

London, no delivery sorry

Not running , the engine stalled out a few weeks ago and I think the flywheel side bearing has gone. Have taken the topend off and there are very slight marks inside the barrel. It can be used again but if you're doing it properly I would get it rebored. Selling as a complete engine rebuild or replace as i've not fully stripped it. (update, have begun fixing it to sell as a running bike)

Also the fuel cap will need replacing. The last month of riding it kept stalling out randomly because the cap isn't letting any air in. All I had to do was take it off for a second then replace but it became very annoying.

Both keys present.

The engine was rebuilt 4 months ago, new crank, new washers, nuts and bolts and main bearings (Koyo) . The head was ported and bored etc by Bob Farnham Tuning.

It's the older model so Japanese frame a no resrictions except exhaust, which is already sorted. There are no clocks and have removed the wiring for them from the loom, always planned to fit a Vapour.

Heres a vid of it being built

I can't believe your selling this after all the hours you put into that epic build dude!

Did you have the motor re-built as a 125 in the end or go for the 170cc kit? I have to say that if i didn't have my KMX200 and a few bits ready for the re-build, then id buy this off you and put a 200R engine in it and forget about my KMX.

I'm gutted for you that your selling it, gotta ask why too?

Thanks mate, tbh the main reason is I just don't use it that often. I still have an overpowering paranoia whenever I park it and that leads me to using it less and less. As you can see i'm still on the same tyres from 2 years ago lol

Alos I need the money to put towards my career (cinematography). Lost my job and funds are extremely tight.

Won't let it go for silly money though Laughing

Started tinkering with the engine today and it seems as if the crank isn't as good as I thought, extremely wobbly on the flywheel side. I've sourced another genuine crank (that one was a TopRacing hobby that I didn't have much confidence in) and will start sorting it out while it's still up for sale. Didn't want to have to spend more on it but it's not costing as much as I thought.

I didn't go for the 170 in the end. After I took the toped to Bob Farnham he warned me against it, ended up just getting it bored, ported and new piston (.5 I think) so nothing much power wise was done to it.

I've been keeping an eye out for a 200 engine but only the 200R. Someone who had a 200 (non R) told me the frame had to be modified to fit it and I don't want to go that route, especially since it's hopefully going.

Also about time I looked at getting my full license. CBT runs out next month and wouldn't mind something a bit bigger and not so flash to help with the paranoia lol

Glad to see you're still around man
