Yes. It was so much nicer when the roads were quieter. |

I await the posts about how there is no season and real bikers ride all year round
However, yes, it does make quite a difference. I have race scrubs on my bike and on cold wet roads in January they're a bit slippery to say the least but fun in their own way. I locked up the front wheel at about 90mph at Snetterton the other day on stone cold tyres leaving a 3 metre long skidmark...god knows how I didn't crash ____________________ ZX6R + CBR600RR |

I was out on Sunday with the advanced riding club, ended up doing about 200-250 miles and my rear tyre got a nice workout, it's so low now you can barely see that there was ever tread in the centre of the tyre and the shoulders are blistered very badly! !
It is lovely when it warms up, find some nice quiet roads and blast along. It's still fun in winter but you can't work the bike as hard and it's just too bloody cold! !
Glad to see it warming up though, was around 20 degrees Celsius all day Sunday, very nice! ! ____________________ "Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul."

That caused a real life lol
The inside of my leathers was less of a skidmark, more of an inkblot. ____________________ ZX6R + CBR600RR |
