So I've bought and air compressor which got delivered today. After adding the all the bits on with the use of the completely useless manual, I now have a question.

The compressor has 2 connectors:

Can I just connect hose then tool to either one? and the stupid question, what do I do with the other connection??

Or am I missing something that should be attached to the connectors?

It is usual to have a PCL type push-in connector as an outlet from a compressor.

I have two outputs on my compressor. One you can control the pressure of with the red tap that you have there, the other is just full power. I assume your full power one is the one on the right as it has the release valve there.

Depends what hose connectors you've got, but as Raffles said they normally are fitted with the pull-to-release type connector he has pictured (at least all the ones I've seen have them fitted).

If you've got some air leaks from threads you might have to use breakable threadlock. My air tools specified I did.
