Hi all,

Just picked up a cg125 and wanted to get some bits for it but the model shapes are confusing me some what. Brazil, pre brazil, square tank , non square tank etc etc. They all look so similar to me.

Mine is a Dreg 1987, could someone tell me exactly what I have bought?

I'm after a chain guard, centre-stand and headlight for it

Try using this;
https://motinfo.direct.gov.uk/internet/jsp/ECHID-Internet-History-Request.jsp

The model should be recorded at the MOT

Cheers for the link, but I've not got the mot to hand and the logbook hasnt arrived yet.

Going on age David Silver catagorise it as this,
Honda CG125BR 1986-1987

I stand to be corrected, but I thought the BR was when they were manufactured in Brazil, and I don't think that was until 1988 (could be wrong). There is a BR E and a BR F, but I don't know the differences I'm afraid.

It might be earlier than 1987, the reg doesn't necessarily give the manufacture date.

If it has 12v electrics, then it's post 1985 as prior to that they were 6v.

Seems to be considered the CG125BR. But 85>91 parts for the BR-F/J will work
