Nice car . . . for my missus perhaps!
No one's EVER going to let a 16yr old drive one of these.
I'm talking same shape, same size, but strictly asthmatic performance. Think of farting into a wet paper bag & it not ripping. A car that would have a similar performance to the 2 wheel mopeds but with the weight of a 4wheeler & the subsequent loss of acceleration. |

SEAT Marbella
Cost £3,000 new in 1987.
Depending on what version you went for:
843cc 4 Speed gearbox = 35hp and 78mph
903cc 5 speed gearbox = 40hp and 81mph. And a hell of a quieter ride on the motorways I bet.. I wished for a 5 speed just so I could hear myself think.. ____________________ CBT: 12/06/10, Theory: 22/09/10, Module 1: 09/11/10, Module 2: 19/01/11

It would be, if it wasn't for all the safety features.. ____________________ CBT: 12/06/10, Theory: 22/09/10, Module 1: 09/11/10, Module 2: 19/01/11

I'll give you a clue shall I (as we seem to have failed abysmally so far).
There is a buzz, maybe a buzz from an expensive PR Co' but a buzz nonetheless.
A practical, 2 door, 2 seater car with 'Smart' type style & 'Smart' type levels of equipment, is going to hit the market before todays 16yr olds have grown up enough to chuck their muck up Kylie &
Cheryl's muck chute.
Sadly, (chuckles to himself) it will have a pathetic level of performance.
How much is a 16yr old ( or Daddy) likely to spend on one?
P.S. If you, or Daddy, struggled to pay £450 over 8yrs & 29.9% finance then you might want to sit this one out |

Unless the 16yr old happens to live in the Isle of Man where 16yr olds can hold a full car licence. ____________________ Isle of Man.........Road Racing Capital Of The World |

1/ WHAT has this got to do with Bikes?
2/ How many Chav 16 year-olds on council clearing estates are running around on brand new Peugot Speed-Fighters? Becouse £2000 doesn't seem THAT expensive, compared to the 'parenting placebo's the kids get every year by way of the latest games console, sterio sytstem, high end mountain bike, and £70 trainers so that THIER kids dont get snubbed in the play-ground?
3/ WHAT has this got to do with BIKES? ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!
