Honda Ns125 Micron Exhaust Help!

Hi, i have just bought a 1988 Ns125 which came with a new micron exhaust, the previous owner has put some bigger jets in to run the engine lean for the running in process as it has just had a full top and bottom end rebuild, i picked it up yestoday and it started with one kick everytime, i took it round the block and everything was fine, all the gears there smooth clutch and all that lot, it was pretty warm here yestoday and i come to start it this morning (cold and windy) and it fired up but cut out a few seconds later (hadn't turned the petrol tap on) and now it wont start, i did a compression test and its reaching 90psi the plug was pretty black (assuming this is oil?) so i cleaned it and still nothing does anyone have any ideas? could it be the jets? what size do i need with a micron exhaust? thanks john.

my old ns125rk ran fine on the stock jets with a micron can so id suggest going back to stock and working from there. as for the non starting, have you checked your definitely getting a spark, adn secondly have you tried bump starting it?

okay ill have to look into the jets abit more, and could this be a reason its not starting? and ill check i have a good spark i havnt tried bumping it i shall try that aswell, thanks john

i couldn't tell you unfortunately i haven't had my nsr for a couple of years now and i sold the haynes manual with it. the stock size jets will be fine with the exhaust though, i ran mine for the best part of a year like that
