Another satisfied MCE customer then
If you paid the cancellation fee then that should have been notice , why do they want a "declaration" as well?? If you get no joy by speaking to a supervisor/manager I'd go to the Financial Ombudsman.

This is simple, contact the bank and demand the money is returned IMMEDIATELY to your account via the direct debit guarantee.
Tell the insurance company you posted the paperwork and as such it is deemed delivered by law (intepretation act) and you are not responsible for them losing mail, sort it out RIGHT NOW as your next communication is the insurance ombudsman to register your complaint. ____________________ Fallen Angel "Nae sniffing my seat now!!!!! Interpretation Act says that 'delivery' covers simple posting, if it was posted it was delivered as far as the act is concerned. And insurance is governed by the Road Something Something Act. So I think that you stand in a position to reclaim the money from MCE. And I think you should talk to someone who hasn't been drinking cos its his last day of term. ____________________ ... |
