GTA Vice City: HELP ME!

Hiya. I''ve been playing this game for ages and I just can't buy any businesses, e.g. The Malibu Club. I know this isn't because I don't have enough money, I have about $160,000! It just says that I can't buy it at this time, please come later. HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to get past a certain mission. Not sure which one but it will come up with a clip saying you can now buy properties.
I've recently started playing again to try get 100% and getting there slowly. Only just been given the chance to buy more properties. AFAIK it's a few missions into the the second island.

Just do all the missions, then worry about the properties.
Then you'll have done about 15% of the game and can go get all the bounuses

Do all the Diaz missions.

They're the ones you get at the big Scarface-esque mansion on Starfish Island.

Once you do them all and give Diaz a nice, cold-hearted death, you can buy stuff.

As well as properly travel to the other island via the bridges.

beleive me
i think u have to finish the cop land mission from the vercetti estate (formerly known as the diaz's mansion) to buy malibu
then you will receive written message on screen that you can buy properties like the malibu.
the game is easy unless you are blowing our brain on a mission
try doing the side missions, rampages etc. cause there is some unknown ranking system that triggers the last two missions. PB: finish 100 taxi fares to get a taxi ,ability ti jump. this can be a great deal of help in most of the missions Cool

You get the wide body kit at about race 105 or somewhere around there. Its right before the end which seems abit pointless coz its about the only visual mod which looks any good!!

Why are you lot talking about NFS Underground? I need help with Vice City! I have done about 25% of the game, KILLED DIAZ and unlock ed the second island. I just haven't done the Vercetti Estate missions. My dumb brother did a cheat to make everybody fight, then saved it and you can't get rid of it. Tommy's dying!!!!(well actually I did a cheat to turn him into Mercedes Cortez: GIRLS RULE!) So do I have to do 'Cop Land' before I can buy the Malibu Club? Will everybody stop beating me up? Please answer me and shut up about NFS Underground (my brother has that game)!!!!!!!

Do more missions before worrying about property - just have fun!

Oh, and NFSU rocks though I've not played it for ages since I got Call of Duty.

Now if you are looking forward to doing it to 100%, i think you should not use any cheats. Neutral

I used the weather cheat the first time i played to avoid rain and the game finished at 98% after all missions, rampages etc. Crying or Very sad

And for your problem, just finish the estate mission, "copland" so that you get a message that "you can now buy property in various parts of the city"
I think thats it.

on the top of the news building (helipad) if you jump into the other building there is an easter egg on a stand... Laughing
