My YBR currently has the opposite. About 10-15mm on the front, and about 15-20mm on the back.
With that said, those were done in a carpark doing large figure 8's. ____________________ Please be aware that the above post may be full of complete nonsense.

Chicken strips are pretty much non-indicative of ''ability''. Front is always more unless you drop the forks through the yokes a little. ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. Mines the same, got about 3mm on the rear and about 8mm on the front which is annoying as it means my front tyre still has those little nobly bits on it still ____________________ Bikes Past: Yamaha Aerox (sold) Yamaha R125 (written off)

How come I don't have any on the front then with forks where they are set OEM, might just have a really little bit to do with ''ability''. Bikes are designed with aspect ratio (that's what they call it) of the tyres to use both fully, but only if you have the ability of course.

It might still be the profile of the tyres. It's not possible to reach the edge of my front tyre because the profile makes it too steep.
Not sure if what you say is true about how the profiles are selected as mine are non-standard sizes but the above is certainly true for me...it's not physically possible on my bike to remove the chicken strips on the front tyre. ____________________ ZX6R + CBR600RR |

I have Chicken Strips on my shoulder pads.
Front tyre profile is different from the rear which means a bigger or smaller 'relative percentage' of the surface can contact the road.
It could be an un-matched pair. ____________________ W-ireless A-rtificial L-ifeform L-imited to O-bservation P-eacekeeping and E-fficient R-epair |

It's the profile of the tyre chaps. Look at this....here are my Hornet numbers;
Rear - 180/55/17
Front 120/70/17
First part is the width of the tyre
Second is the height of the tyre
Third is the diameter of the tyre
The 2nd part is making the difference here regarding chicken strips on the front, it will go evenly if you lean your bike over more as the front has a steeper edge.
