Hi,
ive just received a gilera rcr 50 as a replacement bike .. and the engine appears to flood and wont start without being bump started.I know this is going to sound dumb but does anyone know where the choke is on these bikes ? or has any got any ideas what could be the problem.. Bearing in mind is is the 2007 model and has onli covered 40 k/m.

hi there iv just went and bot a gilera rcr 50cc and it is completely standard has olny done 5000 miles it only does 40 mph oi have took the washer tyope thing out of the exhuast and thats all that i have derestricted i would like it to go faster does any one know how too get it to go faster and what parts i would need thanks karl

Hi Karl there are lots of threads on here for you bike use search box.there may be more than one washer in exhaust .I would now check between carb and manifold and carb and air box there may be a metal plate with hole or holes restricting air or fuel .but if you search for your bike in search box then there are a few that have done these and you can read there problems and successes.

If you've taken the washer out the exhaust you should also upjet the carb otherwise it may run lean. Check the spark plug colour if it's white or grey then the bike is running lean.
