EDIT: hmmm Electrical nightmares...

Hi all,

There was on alaram on my bike (not working) until i cut it out.

Now i have a few problems.....

this is how i had to leave the bike, I need a Wiring diagram in COLOUR if anyone knows where i can find one? a donation would head their way!

also, Anyone know what this is? the colour wires are different to the alarm (all black) should it be in the loom? i think its the alarm...

When i took the alarm out i lost all electrics apart from the headlight, nothing else has power at all..

Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: The bike is a 1999 Honda CB Two-Fifty

No doubt an electrical problem.
connected to your beams.
check the wiring to see if itś been tampered with, and check the ground connections.

i think you need a multimeter lol.

once you get a wiring diagram you will most likely require a multimeter. its an essentail tool in any electrical diagnosis/repair.

if you have power to the headlamp but no where else then theres obviously a break in the line.

you may be able to get certain lights working without the diagram using the multimeter.

i'd get some self amalgamating tape and a multimeter and just strip any tape/trunking off the loom. which you will probably end up having to do anyway and give it a go.

isolate the indicator + wires from the switches and the - from the indicators. do the same for the brake lights. take the + from the switches and the - from the lights and see if you can get the connections made that way.

the engine electrics will be harder will will most likely require the diagram for that.

if the looms been heavily tampered with and the wire colours arent as standard, it might actually be easier to get a diagram that states the colours and buy replacement cable in all the colours and just rebuild the entire loom yourself.

You should have done one wire at a time. These old alarms are quite crude and tend to just be plumbed in to a cut wire. Something like this

The second and last pictures look like a small alarm siren to me with a keyhole to switch it off.
