Hi all...

just noticed today the coolant is running a bit low. Checked the manual and its recommended product was ENI Antifreeze Spezial (fluid without amines, nitrites or phosphates)... Cant find it anywhere... so I guess its a foreign brand. Can someone recommend a coolant for the Aprilia rs4 125. (currently its pink fluid inside) Got Halford near me so I might go there tomorrow .

Cheers

Try and buy coolant concentrate, alloy engines need it 50/50 mixed with water.

I dont think you will need anything special.

I have never heard of "motorbike coolant".

Get concentrate coolant from your local motor factor and mix it 50/50 with distilled water.

I've heard of it, apparently its better for radiators with smaller channels like motorcycle radiators.

I use it a lot.

Is coolant universally a certain shade of blue? Can you tell how concentrated your coolant mixture is by the shade of blue?

Well, not according to the bottle, no. Its no more expensive than normal coolant where I buy it from.
