so my clutch isnt working.

tightened up the cable at the hand lever no effect

moved the clutch arm on the engine casing all the way to the right with absolutely no effect what so ever.

so im going to remove the engine casing tomorow and have a look.

any ideas what i should be looking for?

how bout posting something helpful here?

further information:

the bike is up on its center stand, so the wheel spins off the ground.

the wheel speed increases when accelerator is rolled so im led to believe the clutch isnt working properly.

Yep... its meant to do that.

UNLESS you are holding your clutch lever in (vital info missed there)

Also...it should spin in neutral.

Put it this way, if you sit on it and put it in 1st and release the lever totally and go nowhere...there is an issue.

If you release and it stalls, its fine.

Don't go by what happens on the centre stand.

awesome, thanks paddy, although the wheel doesnt spin in neutral.

although its a new sprocket and new chain and one of the spacers IS siezed to the axle so the difference between 1st and neutral might JUST be different enough to make it spin in 1st with clutch in and neutral
