I noticed earlier that the steering on my Hornet felt a bit wobbly, I cautiously took my left hand off the handlebars at a steady speed and the bars shook, I took my right hand off and it really started to shake the bars.

I checked the tyre pressures and they are fine, what other checks can I do?

Thank you in advance

How is the headstock? Nuts working loose or worn bearings.

Could also be worn wheel bearings or a worn tyre.

Thanks for the feedback, I will have a look tomorrow morning, are these all simple checks to do?

Thank you

Front wheel of the ground. Grab each fork and pull/push, any knock will be loose or fucked head bearings. Grab front wheel at three oclock and quater to and shake, again at twelve and half past. Any movement or knock will be wheel bearings. Worn tyre is more sight. If you have lost the balance weights you will see a clean part on the wheel rim where it was.
