Saturday night I slipped off my bike on a roundabout near home, the bike would've been fine had it not slid front on into the curb and bent the frame & cracked the engine on the rear mount :'(. I was devastated.
Yesterday found this little gem, 9998 miles when I picked it up, CF side panels (£95 a side), Hagon shock, Preload adjusters fitted in the forks, with spring upgrade, venom race can, rearsets, belly pan, HEL hoses. I'm quite impressed. The paint on the engine needs a touch up but that's no hardship, I just feel I got this for the wrong reasons.

anyways, some pictures.

(again) Laughing

I like the way the blue breaks up some of the colour. It's why I added a belly pan to my Hornet. Thumbs Up

Paris told me about this Mike. You nutter. Were any parts salvageable from the yellow one?

You realise our bikes are no longer a rainbow. Now you and Paris simply merge into one sad blue blob. Mr. Green

I'm not bored of mine, (longest period I've had of owning one particular bike) but I'm getting the itch to get a Sports again. Laughing

I didn't do anything wrong! haha. I'd had my knee on the floor earlier in the day (just to see if I could, cause I had some leathers, its not a habit), then just pootling home round a roundabout the front goes and it slams into a curb! If you looked at the bike from the left you would'nt know anything was wrong with it, and from the right all it looks like is a scuffed rear panel, mirror, and fucked rad, but its actually a slightly bent frame and a small crack in the rear mount. which ruins everything :'(.
Its okay though man, me and paris are the same colour, but me and you are quicker Wink.

Drake wrote:

Its like a sleeve that simply slides over the back of the seat, don't get one! I got to work this morning and realised it wasn't there any more! wind took it, I was gonna get rid anyway so I'm not fussed.

I was on about not liking the belly pans Laughing , I've always loved Hornets!
Get a sports as well as the Hornet, but you fail if you buy a CBR of any 600 sort Wink

*in a straight line* Wink. and no, screen's off lol, renthals were fitted today too, I hate those standard bars! Even more so after coming from the renthals back to standard again.

We need photos Mike. I'll be up next week so will take a look. Would love a go on a hornet to see what a powerful naked was like!

Oh and sort out that headlight, it's massive!

If you do decide to get rid of the OE headlight, I'll buy it.

Nice, but I don't like the hugger.

Do you still have your other Hornet? The one you crashed?

Any parts you'd care to part with?

Doubt I'd get rid of the standard headlight Garth, Sorry, will let you know if anything changes though!

AnPhonEh I still have it, its mostly fine bar the rad, right front engine mount on the frame, and the small crack on the rear right top engine mount. What did you have in mind?

I'd have to have a look at mine and refresh my memory.

What year was the crashed Hornet? (98? Seeing it in your signature)

I could do with headlight/indicator mounts -
I could also use a 17" front wheel and brake discs
I'm also looking for fairings, if they're not cracked
Original undertay and number plate mount

Shotgun the tank and all the bodywork, pleeeeease.

I'll also have the downpipes.

Plus you're local. No reason why I can't come round and help you dismantle it if you want. Thumbs Up

It was a 16 incher I think.

I'll fight you to death for the fairings.

A fight to the death? I guess you just want them more. Best I could stretch to is a fight to the unconscious. The fairings are not a huge deal for me anyway, just want some spares to get sprayed.

So if you have 'em...

Headlight Brackets.
Undertray and taily tidy.

I'd be interested in.

I don't recall saying my bikes up for salee?! The front end my dads having so stuffs forward is off, I'm gonna keep the bodywork in case of emergency or in case I want some custom shit. Probs gonna keep the downpipes too, I'm being stingy Wink, as ill sell it and end up needing something, roles would be reversed Razz.
A 17 inch wheel I do have! I even have the spacers for the discs too, and seeing as I'm personally a 16" fan, I don't think I'll want it Razz. Got a spare 16" too, complete with tyre, and a continental road attack should anyone be interested.

I'm sorry guys, but I'd rather keep hold of certain stuff, I'm sure you all understand my reasons!

There is a chance, my dad having the same headlight on his revere, albeit battered, if he doesn't mind having his one on the Hornet front, I can make one available to you Wink
