For some reason I'm getting some strange feedback like a vibration through the bars/lever just as I come to a stop. What could be causing this it's only just started?

Check wheel bearings - often a sign they're getting a bit loose. At speed you often don't notice so much as they're spinning fast enough.

I'd have a check on the run out of your disk as well, its likely that the disk is a little warped, causing increased friction in some areas and decreased friction in others, causing a very fast stop start type motion.

I had exactly the same problem on the NC30 - whilst braking just before stopping it would judder. After much investigation it turned out to be the head stock bearings.
