Brake stuck

The rear brake is jammed on, on my GT.

I have no idea what is wrong with it.

I push the lever down and it stays there until I lift it back up. But it feels like the brake is still on.

And ideas?

P.s - I'm crap with brakes.

pop the pistons out of the caliper and clean em up then grease them with red rubber grease clean caliper then pop em back in and bleed up

It did get stuck a while back, but me and Pernig bled it through and to no avail, then accidently left the bleed nipple open when we went for a pint. Came back and it worked.

Another problem I have is the front RH calliper was wrecked when some idiot at ROBSPEED (https://www.robspeed.com/) put both pads on the piston side of the calliper when changing my front tyre and wore the 'fingers' out the other side the first time I pulled the lever and nearly went head long into the arse end of a truck.

I am crap with Alu, and it is cast, so can it the 'fingers' be built up with weld?

Before tearing it apart have you checked the spring that pulls the leaver back up is there/intact.

Yes, I had the rear sets powder coated so know it is all working fine.
With out the master cylinder attached the lever springs back.

It doesn't have the switch on it though, but I can't see how that little spring would affect it.

Before I took it off the road, it was playing up, with binding and stuff, but never really noticed since i'm lazy and only used to use the front brake anyway.

You might think i'm a bit dumb, but bugger me, i'd have to be licking the windows of a special bus, whilst simultaneously shitting my pants and shouting potato at the same time.

So far at my house he is banned from using any power tools (Nearly killed himself with a grinder, and run my drill backwards and blunted 4 of my bits whilst I was out.)
Not allowed to use any of my taps, extractors or anything else like that,
Touching brakes is forbidden,
Banned from chain tool,

He is useless as hell with spanners and anything mechanical, but a genius with wiring, where as my plug and play on the GT has caused him more than enough problems, few still remain but shall be sorted.

I'll upload a vid soon of how bad he is.
