If you have a couple of beers beforehand it'll get rid of those nerves.
In all honesty, just relax. If you can ride safely on the road you can pass the test. Just treat it like a ride-out with a SatNav. Forget about being under examination.
Obvious things are:
- Do cancel Indicators
- Do check mirrors periodically
- Do shoulder checks
- Don't cut anybody up/cause them to slow down/cause them to move
- Don't speed
- Do wear full gear
- Do be polite to the examiner
- Don't be a suck-up
- Do bring all of your documents ____________________ 2004 R1 & 2018 XSR900 |

Just my usual advice. Try doing a running commentary as you're riding e.g. "parked car on left coming up, check mirrors, lifesaver, pull out and over take" etc.
I found it helped keep me focussed and I didn't forget my obs etc.
Good luck ____________________ Honda Goldwing GL 1000 Current love

good luck and ditto to all the above, remember, life savers, you can't do enough of them, even if you don't think you need to just do one in either direction every now and then, from behind it looks as if you are observing your suroundings, around schools and 20mp zones stick to a speed of 15mp - 18mp, you can never be to carefull in these areas, any where else get up to the speed limit as quickly and safely as possible, stay relaxed, and lastly DON'T filter, your not expected to, good luck and enjoy it. ____________________ First bike R reg Suzuki 125 GT twin in 1978:
