You have to straighten out the bend first then pull through with pliers. If it wont budge then just bost it off and get a new one, they are 10 a penny.
Chrome spray pain dosent work. Its just silver really unless they have changed it. ____________________ 3 Honda NC50's(Sold)-->'72 Puch Maxi S (Sold, want it back!)--> '90 Yamaha RXS 100 (Stolen)--> '87 Honda Cub 90(Sold) --> '95 Kawasaki Eliminator (Sold) --> '98 Bandit 600 (Sold) -->'07 SV650S (Current) |

Is rubbish, it looks nothing like chrome, more a metallic silver. If you lacquer it to make it durable then it makes it go dull grey.
I've heard it can be done with another product but requires a lot of time, prep and a decent airbrush.
You used to be able to get chrome plating kits from ebay for not a lot of money. They're good for little parts. You'll need to paint plastics with a zinc primer first but it can be done fairly easily. ____________________ ZX6R C6F.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience. |
