Is anyone going to the German GP?
Since I don't speak German I haven't got past booking the plane tickets to Berlin. Since I've recently had a major back op I don't fancy having to camp but needs must if nothing else turns up.
Does anyone have any English speaking contacts for camper vans / hotels / B&Bs / friends near the track they could help out with please
Cheers

Yeah I thought of that. But then they say something back.
I did give one a go. The conversation went like this:
Me: sprechen zie english?
Receptionist: nein, sprechen zie deutch?
Me: nein. er, bye then...
Receptionist: sweinhund (OK, I'm imagining that bit!) ____________________ www.bikegirl.co.uk |

You'll probablly find that most Germans speak english anyway. they learn english from a very young age, and as a one of their main foreign languages. They will expect tourists anyway. Is it Hockenheim? |

Well, it looks a great place to holiday but it's 6 hours from the track - and we're flying into Berlin which is 3 hours the other side...
I'll take up your earlier suggestion of emailing hotels - thanks for that, I missed it when I replied.
I'll file this link though - it looks fab and I fancy a European blast when I get better... Especially since I really fancy doing the Nurburgring!
