Hi im having problems syncing my carbs

using a morgan carbtune

Connected evreything up, i couldnt get the tubing all the way over the restrictors as its just too tight so i have carefully taped them over so they are sealed

Fired the bike up and it tells me carbs are out of sync, so i get a screwdriver and before i even turn the screw with a screwdriver the revs fly up to 4-5k then go back to a really low idle

Iv got my idle set to 1500rpm, Valves are adjusted and have been checked, bikes been serviced new filters etc

Only thing i can think of is the baffle is removed from the exhaust and that i have no exhaust gaskets as the ones i bought didnt fit

really confused iv also took the carbs of and refitted them to make sure there secure

out of ideas could really do with some help thanks

Stopped reading there.

Redo it. Use something to increase the size of the rubber pipes...

I think you're pressing on the screw head a little which causes it to rev, make sure you blip the throttle a couple of times between adjustments
