60mph isnt quick at all for a 125, thats well tuned 50cc 2 stroke territory But basically, the VanVan is designed to be slow, so either stick with it, or buy a different bike. |

My mates used to go 65 maybe 70 at a push and that was a right mess. He blew it up int he end as he though oil levels worked like fuel levels e.g it was fine till it ran out then you had to go to a petrol station and refill it.
Check your brakes aren't sticking on by pulling them on, then spinning the wheels by hand with them off the ground.
The back tire on those things is huge with loads of tread on it. If it's worn but still legal it might have a much smaller diameter than originally effectively down gearing the bike. |

heyy, i have a suzuki rv50 and have found out that if you disconnect the exhaust rubber sealant that goes towards the carb, letting more air in it will run faster + accelerate faster. Or if you take out the rubber bung that allows you to adjust the carb air to fuel Ratio and leave it out that works too.
