thought id drop this here as those who read in here are most likely to have done this.
How well do headers/downpipes polish up? Ive been looking for bikes and seeing a lot with dull mucky/rusty headers which being a right anal fecker puts me off. My headers are very shiny Embarassed

Any pics of a before after clean up you have done??

No pics, but the easiest way is wire wool then a polish with Autosol. I managed to.get a mirror finish on my cb400 sf.

Hope that's of some use?

Im actually trying to de-chrome my bike now, apart from the headers. I think the chrome accessories look about 15 years out of date, which would make sense, as the bike is about 15 years old!

When i got the bike it came with loads of chrome tat, most of which is in the bin now.
