You could build yourself a make-shift shed for the price of that cover over thing...or you could leave your bike where it is, in the safe warm garage, did I mention safe garage...and get over the 5mile distance.
Before I moved back to the sticks, it took me half an hour to drive to the nice safe garage I rented. ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |

i had one of them, they are brilliant, so much better than a cover and so easy to just ride in, get off and close it, it'll keep your bike dry, unlike covers, which soak the bike when you take them off lol ____________________ my rides ---->> https://img406.imageshack.us/img406/5051/ktmaudiducati2.jpg |

I have that cover, and I put some photos on here a while back:

Still going strong now, 7months on. If you cant get a shed up, then this is certainly the next best thing I would say.
edit - seems the one you linked to is a newer version. Mine is pretty good, so the improved version should surely be better |

I've been thinking about this. They only show pictures of it on grass right? If this works just as well on concrete feel free to skip this but, if not...
Why use this cover? To protect the bike from the shit loads of rain that England has. You're using this on grass. So when you go out to your bike, assuming you're not a weekend warrior / sun-only guy/bitch, you're going to be treading through shit loads of sodden water and grass, just to have little to no grip either when stood up and moving the bike or sat on the seat and moving it.
This begs the questions - why put your bike on grass at all? I wouldn't!
Of course - if it works on concrete then that's fine Just all the pictures show grass and nothing else. I mean, who parks their bike on grass anyway? ____________________ Left the forum. |
