 |
|
Hi
My brother in law's XR125 has decided to let rust eat its exhaust
Trying to find a reasonably priced replacement but it seems pretty tough. Not what I was expecting for what is, essentially, a fairly common cheap bike.
Anyway, does anyone know where I can find a cheap replacement exhaust for it?
Usual Google / Ebay have thrown up some rather heftily priced answers but I was hoping he'd have to spend less than the £300 Honda want

I think it'd cost more than the Honda genuine item just in plate and/or wire
It's pretty well gone TBH, there's not much left of it on the inside and I doubt there's much to weld to. It's also gone right around the flange to the silencer itself, so fairly tough to weld up I'd have thought.
Might be an option though, I guess. Will get someone to have a look. |

I've got the same bike, and the front downpipe has rusted away (thread in workshop lol)
A second hand one went on ebay for £65 and new they are £81, so I got a new one.
You could get one of them if you need the full exhaust system, and the end bit off ebay ____________________ 07' Honda Hornet now full powaah! My guide on performing an oil change! |
