Hi all,

the whole enclose can move on the bars if I grab it and turn it.

If I'm correct (from what I searched and found), there are two screws and a peg to hold it in place.

The screws seem tight, but when I pull the throttle encolsure off the bars slightly I can see what does appear to be a broken peg in the bar itself.

I imagine that the peg is staying in forever.

But is there a chemical that sets sticky after a while or a safe fix? It only moves with quite a lot of force, not enough to stop me using it or anything. But if I can put some glue or something on the bars to make sure.

Or maybe some thin rubber strips or something?

Any ideas?

So you mean the throttle grip. The twisty bit you turn to make the bike go faster.

Just wrap some duck/gaffer tape round where the non moving part should be. That will allow some grip for it.

Just don't put it where you need it to twist.... Thumbs Up

nothing wrong with above suggestion, but if you fancy a cleaner way of doing it, as some people are picky over it, use rubber strips. much like what you get with a bicycle light or speedo.
