Hi , i have bought this bike month ago. With choke on it was starting 1st time , now i need to press it twice ( its probably that its really cold here now ). My question is how long i need to hold choke to let it warm up at around +2-3 C degrees. The other day i did 1 minute and when i stopped at the corner out of the car park it stalled.

Regarding technical issue - choke itself became hard to pull up about 2 weeks ago like its getting stuck into something from the inside.

Chokes are usually overlooked when it comes to maintenance so it probably needs an oiling. Start it on the choke and leave it running while you put your gloves and helmet on. Ride off with the choke still on backing it off bit by bit. Try keeping the throttle open slightly when you come to a halt.

I have same bike. It needs choke even on a warm day. On a cold day, give it a couple minutes to warm up.
Warm day you can usually start on choke and close it after a few seconds.

If you leave it on choke for 5-10 mins you should notice when its ready, revs will drop.

But, resonably good bike for a 125. Could do with 5 or 20 more horses, radial tyres, and a working tacho :/

Oh ok , thx mate.
I was kinda struggling regarding that , since its mostly said on the internet that dont use choke longer then 30secs it will kill your engine.

In your first post you said "press it twice", your not thinking starter button? Holding that for 30 secs will kill it.

Choke cant do any significant damage. If you ride with it on, bike might stall easily at junctions/idle when warm.

worst thing if you leave the bike stationary for too long engine can over heat, but from cold it would take over 15-20 minutes.
