Not sure if this belongs in here but I', sure it'll be moved by the powers that be if it isn't. My rear L Plate keeps coming off and it is doing my head in. Somehow my front one seems ok, despite it being a little torn, but the rear one keeps tearing off. I've been attaching them to the bottom of the number plate by screwing the bottom number plate screws through it but again this morning, when i got to work I had two little pieces of white plastoc where my L plate once, proudly, stood!

Anyone know of a better way to attach the bleeding thing as the last thing I want is Plod giving my 3 points and a fine.

Are you using the flexible ones? If you are then thats why. The rigid ones should last much longer.

I glued mine to a bit of wood and attached the wood to the bottom of the numberplate.

Sounds like your using the hard ones then, are you drilling the holes too close to the top of the plate.

I'm going to attach my new plates to something more sturdy then attach this to the number plate!

Thanks for the advice, I'm so impractical it's unbelievable!
