My first instinct would suggest to you, check the fuel pump? I'm no genius on bikes as such, but this is what I would do:

stand the bike, engine off, and disconnect fuel filter, so its empty, re-attach and see if she is still filling up? if not, perhaps drain the carb? But these are my personal opinions Smile

Pics of the tube would help. I'm not aware of any fuel pump on a 125. It sounds like a breather pipe? Vacuum issue?

Looks a bit chunky to be coming off the carb? I wonder if your drain screw on the carb has worked loose.

went to the garage with it and they said the carb probably needs cleaning out and that it probably was the overflow they said it would cost £45 for them to do it so think im going to try it myself tomorrow and it is just a small rubber pipe that goes into that big rubber spout thing just couldn't get a pic from the top with being behind the brake pedal and will have to have a look about the drain screw thanks for the ideas on what it could be hopefully 1 of them will sort it without having to shell out

sounds like carb is overflowing because the float bowl has jammed / rubber has perished / needle stuck / crap vacuum due to hardened rubber / etc

buy a carb rebuild kit - about 12 quid depending on the bike.

piece of piss to fit. usually can get the carbs off a wee bike without having to take the tank off, airbox out, battery out etc. should just be a case of unscrewing the bowl, swapping the parts and makin sure everything is snug. if the floats just fall out when you unscrew the bowl, I would say this is the problem. very common.

if the carb is full of shit get it ultrasonicked, tho will cost you a bit.

pipe usually comes from bottom of the airbox.
