take them off, dump in a bowl of rice, or leave them sitting above an average temp radiator (note ABOVE, not ON)

with rice, be careful none gets into the workings of the clocks.

rice is well known for the "drying out a wet mobile phone" trick due to its moisture absorbing propterties. i should think an overnight stem should maybe do it

Happens (although not to that extent) on my bike.

If you can hold of a fan heater and aim it at the clocks. Does the job for me. They can belt out some heat at close quarters so don't put too close. It'll take hours to dry yours out.

Best advice tho is to take them off, dry them inside and see where the water gets in. You might be able to use clear silicone sealant.

You could just ride it with the speedo lights on.

I had the same problem on my old 50, and just rode it until the heat from the instrument illumination bulbs dried it out.

This.

Dry the silica gel out periodically in a low oven. Or alternatively buy a bulk pack of sachets off of eBay. Smile

With condensation in the clocks and a "floppy" bracket and dodgy lighting i thought i would take them inside and see what is what.

Removal of the clocks is easy enough 4 bolts and unplug the wiring , love the wiring block in the headlight and it is obvious the damage to the bracket,

https://i1353.photobucket.com/albums/q672/Nightshaddow_Barker/DSCF1657.jpg

This will hopefully be repaired but before i try i will make a template in case i have to fabricate a new one, after a quick scan of the clocks in hand i must say i love mr hondas design on this one. Four screws on the back and one screw in the trip meter and the whole thing just split in two.

at this point rather chuffed cleaned the water out of the inside and reversed the process to put it back together, and now i can see the speedo and the mileage.

it will condense up again. The big problem is the seal has gone. Its needs to be sealed up to prevent the moisture air from getting in the first place. A hot airing cupboard or similar, reassemble in that hot cupboard but DRY cupboard and seal it. Don't do it when you have mildly damp clothes in there drying out as moisture will be in the air. This is best done on a hot dry summer's day and usually this sorts the problem out.
