If you need to remove the bolt you have two options, you can either get a set of easy outs like so. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5PCE-DAMAGED-BOLT-SCREW-STUD-EXTRACTOR-REMOVER-EASY-OUT-/190529701862#vi-content

or alternatively if your replacing the whole unit you could just drill the bolt out enough to take the unit off then replace it,

IMO i'd go for the first option as its cheaper and you will then have some spare tools if such a thing happens again on your bike Smile HTH

Hi

Does it go into a blind hole, or does the hole go all the way through?

If all the way through then I would suspect it isn't that tight. I would try carefully drilling it out (to make this easier you should be able to remove the switchgear, bar end weight and bar grip and then slide the clutch lever pivot off).

I wouldn't try an easy out type tool unless you really have to, especially the tapered kind. With the tapered ones as you tighten them up they tend to expand the bolt making it even more stuck in place, and if they do snap off (quite likely) then being hardened steel they are a nightmare to drill out.

All the best

Keith
