Has anyone experience of fitting hand guards. The type which attatch to both the bar end and has an adjustable arm to clamp to bars?

Only I see my CRF250L bars have no bar ends fitted. The grips look just like the ones my mountain bike

So how can I attatch the guards to where there are normaly bar ends?

Cheers

It depends on your current setup. Do you have any bar ends at all?

You may have to cut the end off your grips so that you can see the bars underneath, I found that loosely fitting the guards then tightening up the clamp that slides inside the bars first worked best. Don't forget to use some locktite or something similar, as the bolts can rattle loose.

No bar ends at all.

I wonder what's on the end of the bars underneath the rubber grips

A hole.

Cut the end of the grip off and insert end of hand guard.

Check the internal diameter before you buy the fitting kit, they do differ.
