I've just bought a Bridgestone BT-45 tubeless Rear tyre for my NS125R, i'm currently running it on a michelin tubless tyre but it has a tube in it, i have had four punctures in the past two months with no damage to the tyre eg no nails. When i get my new tyre fitted can i put a new valve in it and throw away the tube?

Thanks

The NS was designed when tubes were still cool. My NS had a set of Avons...
Tubeless tyres tend to have a much tighter fit than tubed tyres, as they have to provide a perfect seal around the rim. Tubeless tyres also require a defect-free rim for a good seal.
If the previous owner put a tube into a tubeless tyre, it might be because there was trouble with rim-leaks. Check the rim to see if there are any dings, dents or corrosion.
The new tubeless tyre might be ok without a tube. It's best to get it put on by a garage as they will put rim-sealant on it for you. It would be worthwhile to try it, at worst it will cost an extra tenner to get a tube put back in.

Both of my tires on my Ns125r are tube less , but when I took them off, they had tubes in them.
Personally I would leave the tubes in there, on a 125. Thumbs Up
