The closest I got was some Top Gear stuff.
Someone on the street got a new scooter in the past week or so, though.

Nothing remotely bike related, as my parents still don't know I have a bike and I'm too scared of their reaction to tell them Laughing

Break it to them gently, riding the bike straight through the front door and following up with an epic burnout in the middle of the living room carpet should do the trick. Laughing

I went to treat myself to some gloves yesterday. They're being advertised by the stockists but aren't available until the spring Confused https://www.rst-moto.com/rst-tractech-evo-glove (in white)

I did buy a neck tube which was wrapped up and given back to me this morning Neutral

Unfortunately the missus didn't buy me a Daytona 675R, despite dropping a few subtle hints over the last couple of months.

Instead I had the foresight to buy myself some sweet-ass A* booties at the bike show earlier in the month and my family have given me some money towards them.

My original plan was to ask girl out, bring her back from uni at the start of the holidays on the back of the bike, show parents, ???, profit.

Two things put a stitch in that - I didn't ask her out, and the weather was too shit to ride.

So I'll do it when it's sunnier over easter. Hot blonde girlfriend on the back of a sexy sportsbike in sunny weather arriving home to see my parents at the end of the day == profit Mr. Green

This plan...can't fail

Ja. Good old british divide and rule. Your dad wont know whether to kak on you for the bike or the tart you are bringing home...His wrath will be divided Mr. Green Your mom will be in shock, on her knees in prayer 'where did I go wrong?'. Mr. Green

I learnt that as a kid. If I do wrong, I am going to get shit. May as well make it worth it and do it all at once Mr. Green

Hey my dad is only going to hit me once. So do it all at one time.....
