Hi All

I need to align my forks after my bike was backed into. I can't find any torque specs. Looking mainly for the upper and lower clamp bolts as well as the front axle.

Thanks! Brian

The forks maybe bent and unsafe. Do you know who damage your young bike?

Yes, they paid for paint damage already. I'd like to try to align the front before asking for more money.

It's probably a generic chinese 125 torque setting. I think there are manuals floating about for generic 125s...

What I'd do, is buy a steel rule and use it to check the fork legs for straightness as you're not just fixing a car park drop, you're fixing something that could potentially put a lot of force onto the fork legs...

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Thanks for the response. As for generic specs, that may well be the case, I have only been able to find specs for older models, and they vary greatly. So far I haven't found any evidence that the struts have a bend. The handle bars aren't perfectly straight when riding though. The car backed into the tyre and twisted the forks a bit but didn't even bend the wheel.
