My first helmet was a Shark Openline, fortunately I got this right and it was (and still is) a perfect helmet as my first. As pinlock is fantastic and makes a massive difference.
I wanted bluetooth and discovered that the Evoline which I tried, had this as an option. But at the time, double the price and then the cost of the kit made this prohibitive cost wise. I bought a Viper RS 131, the one with the bluetooth built-in. Although it feels cheaper than my Shark it is actually more comfortable and has the neat fold under flap to stop wind getting in. ANYWAY, it is hopeless for fogging, so I've worn it once since buying it 2 months ago.
I want to attempt to drill a pinlock kit into it, but I'm not the best and before I do I want to make sure I can get a replacement visor if all goes wrong. I can't find one anywhere, can anyone help?
My local bike shop just sold me an adhesive pinlock, which is actually for an Arai helmet but is universal in that respect so will try it. It was only £10, so worth a punt. ____________________ Currently: Yamaha DT 125 LC2,Repsol Fireblade, and Bumblebee MSX 125 |
