Been a while since I last visited the BCF forums. Usually I do a writeup of my trips, but this year I have been proper lazy. Instead I spent my Christmas putting together a short film of the highlights from this years Scotland trip.

Please enjoy in 1080p. My first proper video edit, so go easy on me!

Really enjoyed that Video!

Now dont tell lies Tut Tut , that is not Scottyland, it`s not raining.

I`ve been there and I KNOW that it only ever rains in Scotchland.

Haha, no we were really lucky. Not a spot of rain. It did get cold at times, but it was sunny and warm most of the time.

I love watching videos of bikes in Scotland touring. I can say been there and there and there................ brings back loads of memories. Didn't go last year due to costs, but have been the five years before. You can never get tired of Scotland.

Looks excellent! Would love to do that this year - I'm in Scotland anyway!

Do you have a copy of the route you did? Would be looking at camping if I did it.

Enjoyed watching that. How long did it take to edit together? What video camera did you use?

Sorry no route, I follow the guy with the GPS most of the time - and sometimes we don't plan any sort of route - you have fantastic roads wherever you go. But I can tell you that the kinlochleven loop, isle of skye and cairngorm mountains feature heavily in the vid.

Thanks. I had about 10 hours of footage altogether and probably took me at least 12 hours to do the edit (I may have missed lots of good footage as I couldn't be arsed watching it all back!) (bearing in mind this was my first ever video I edited, it could be done alot quicker by someone more proficient)

GoPro Hero 2 with permanent helmet attachment.

Really enjoyed that - looks excellent. I've just linked your vid to a couple of biking mates, as I need some company for when I do it!
