I have a really good multimeter in the house, but wanted something cheap for in the garage, must be digital etc. ideal for checking battery voltage and tracing wiring faults.

Can't believe the price of this, hopefully will be here today, I'll let you all know what it's like if you are interested.

How about the same meter for £0.99 inc P+P delivered from Honkers via eBay? I bought 1 last summer.
These meters are sold by various retailers, some with their own brand label embossed onto it. my local car parts shop has 1 on the shelf for £9.99

I've had 2 of the same type of multimeter as the one you linked to.
They gave very inaccurate readings when compared to a volt meter.
Were promptly sent back.
Poor quality if you ask me, but you get what you pay for right?

Bought a Draper multimeter a year ago and it's been great.
Costs a bit more, but the difference in quality is huge and it actually gives accurate readings. Thumbs Up

This is what I've got.

I use mine for general electronics as well as automotive electrics.

Got the continuity buzzer which is really useful - lots of DMMs seem to be missing these days.
