I'm about to de-restrict my bike, i have been able to get a cheap second hand arrows system, i have been told that i need to re-jet the bike, what size of jet should i use, how many jets are there that need to be replaced, can i buy a kit and if so where from and how much. Laughing

Thanks for your help. Thumbs Up

Hi

try www.dellorto.com main jets are £2.95 each.

They may also be able to give you advice on jets sizes!

Just see what size main jet is in your bike at the moment, fit the exhaust and up jet a couple sizes, see how it runs and check the condition of the plug and up jet more if necessary until it's runs correct.

i havre not done an nsr but on my 50 when i put on a racing exhaust i put one in that was one size bigger. that is just the ,mamin jet and it was perfect so just up the main jet size by a bit and check the plug each time. in the haynes manuals they show you what to look for in a plug and if its runing too hot, cold ect......
hope that helps Thumbs Up

Hello i have just fitted a new arrow system to my nsr, the standard jet size is 135 and believe it or not i had to lean it off as it was too rich, i have gone down to a 130 in stages which has made it better, aprrently on some high performance 2 strokes this is needed to get the max performance, check the plug also !!
