Scooter Insured

So my little project, a Benelli 250 Scooter is running (aka Yamaha Majesty in drag). Needed a fuel filter and a good clean out. Also had to fix some wiring for the auto choke which was causing it to run rich.

Anyway, just got Insured for £129 TPO including a years breakdown cover (with home start) through Carole Nash. I've got a new full licence (restricted as of october), 3 points and a fault accident last year, no NCB. So pretty awesome.

Did all the usual car comparison sites and they came out double that. Then used Motorcycle News website and I found one for £105, but with breakdown included and a good reputation I plumped for Carole Nash.

Only ridden it round the car park, can't wait to get it on the road on Saturday. A 250CC scooter including insurance for a year has cost me about £400! Let's hope it doesn't die on Saturday.
