Unfortunately I no longer have the manual, I managed to ride 20 miles with the alarm armed [unknowingly] - it was at 80mph I received the alarm chirps and indicators flashing (!) -
(I only have the indicators wired in because my bike already has a factory immobiliser)

I've since tried getting the alarm to chirp or give some indication that it's armed, but it won't respond unless it hits a pot hole. Is there a way to adjust sensitivity or is just faulty..?

Are you sure you didn't arm it by mistake?

I've had that happen once. The key fob touched another key in my pocket and so the alarm started blazing away.

I just put the fob in its' own pocket now.

Perfect, thank-you!
It has, however, confirmed that my alarm is shagged after only a few months :/ (set to maximum sensitivity it still refuses to acknowledge being shaken/knocked/ridden down the road 20 miles) - everything appears to function normally aside from the shock sensor.
I'll drop N Cooke security an Email, but IIRC he only gives a warranty if you had it professionally installed. I'm not sure why connecting 4 wires requires professional installation, but there you go.

Shame it's broke in that short amount of time, apart from that was it any good.
I'm stuck between a hawk x40, or a cyclone v2, I had a hawk on a bike I owned a few years ago, and it never failed, bit annoying sometimes when you fill up with petrol and wash the bike as it self arms and kept going off.
The cyclone doesn't self arm does it ?

Mine certainly doesn't self arm.

I had to adjust the sensitivity on mine. Trouble was I hadn't even bothered wiring up the indicators. It works just fine as a stand alone motion sensing alarm.

Anyway try holding the 'arm' button for 2 seconds then hold the lightening bolt button for 20 seconds. After that use the lightening bolt button to try setting it. Level 1 suits me perfectly

There's a factory re set option which is on my instructions...out in the shed. Let me know if you want to try that option
