Want to change the indi's cause they look dire. Fitting them wise, no holes required, I have some black corner brackets the fit perfectly to where the rear light is and will home a set of indicators just fine. Getting the cables back that far is quite a stretch though (already checked last time I had set off).
Noted on the wattage. I think thats what I was trying to ask but couldn't think of the word 'wattage' ^^ |

Extension 'leads'!
The leads dont reach to the back light. There is a hole at the front of the rear fender next to the battery and all the rear light leads run under it. I would want longer leads as the current ones only go a tiny bit further than the indicators current position. I would need the leads to keep going all the way to the back light, the up into the rear light unit, and out of the front of it |

Soldering? - there's posh for you. If you need to extend the leads, then any old cable will do plus a few of these:

I have used flex cut from defunct electrical appliances before. You could wrap PVC tape over the connector if you are feeling in the mood.
Of course, I am a bodger and I'm sure others will have views. The connectors might rust & fail eventually, but it will take a few years. |

I'd strongly suggest you do not cut anything on your loom.
People like to HAVE modified bikes but they like to BUY totally standard ones.
Only modify your 125 in such a way as it can be put back to standard when you want to sell it.
In my experience, aftermarket indicators are invariably utterly shit quality and WILL fail within a few months of fitting them. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |
