GPZ fork seals

Needing some help with this....

I have removed the fork, then dismantled it as far as I can. Removed the spring, the washer on top of the old seal and the funny shaped retaining wire but I cannot pull both parts apart.

Is there another washer inside there?

Yip the stanchon is attatched to the folk lower. Taper a broom handle and ram it down the centre and undel the lower leg you should see a allan bolt needing turned.

Or if you have the forks off then just put a screwdriver through the seal and lever them off and save dismantling the whole thing (unless you need to check the condition inside that is)

Now i like quick or cowboy jobs but i have never did that. Using the correct tool you are just as quick to split them and clean them out proper.
