Pretty early to be taking cheap shots isn't it? I can see what they're concerned about but isn't that racing? Marquez is one of the reasons Moto GP is so good this year!

In club racing we were always told "It's the person behinds responsibility to overtake safely."

Outbraking yoruself on the outside - fair enough.

Outbraking yourself to the point you run directly across the racing line - dangerous.

Sure, these things happen - but if I'd done similar I'd expect to be called up to the control tower for "a word" about it after the race.

We'll probably not ever know if he really thought he could make it, or was intending to replicate Rossi's succusful full-contact block pass - but either way, I would certainly put him in the wrong, be it intentionally or not.

It was a dubious move intentional or not. I don't think he should be punished for it but I don't see a problem with a warning.
I think the only reason Lorenzo hasn't protested about the whole thing is to help protect his PR. He would have seen how the fans and media reacted to Stoner's moaning. Lorenzo also made a complaint about Simoncelli's riding and was a made to look a fool, with the whole " I will be arrested" thing. In hindsight he couldn't have been more right!

The fans want exciting racing and are always going to support the guy making the dangerous moves. The reason the racing is dull is because of the stupid rules the organisers dream up not because of the riders. Having some maniac torpedoing people off isn't going to improve things.
