I have found the problem with my lights!!

Well me & dandit have stripped the R6 down to the bare minimum to see if we can trace a fault in the wiring, and I think i've may have found it.

That be a relay then.

If you know a bit about electronics or how a relay works you could test it out to make sure that it isn't working.

if it's cracked like that i would say that it's goosed. I don't know what happened to it, wether it burnt out? or whether it's taken a good knock? either way it's burnt out or could be stuck.

You could test it to see. I think you may be able to get a diagram from Farnell or RS to show how it works. Sorry i can't be of any more help.

There was a small crack in the relay! It must have happened in my front end crash.

And the water has slowly been leaking into the unit. The other wiring loom is from another year so the relays in that were wrong!

So it will be a trip to mr Yamaha then on tuesday.
